Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation presents a multimedia; photographic
and visual recording gallery, when available, of the Lectures
organised and hosted in the sphere of Maqasid, the philosophy of
Islamic law and its objectives.
The lecture titled “The means (al-dharāi‘) and their role in creative juristic effort (ijtihād)” was delivered by Professor Mohamed Salim El-Awa, on Monday 2 May 2016, at Avanti Hotel in Mohammedia, Morocco.
The Centre for the Study of the Philosophy of Islamic Law (Maqasid Centre) at Al-Furqān Islamic Heritage Foundation organised a public lecture titled “The Objectives of Fasting: Reflections on Meaning”, delivered by Professor Heba Raouf Ezzat.
Within the activities of Sharjah’s International Book Fair, the Centre for the Study of the Philosophy of Islamic Law, which is affiliated to Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation, organised a public lecture on Saturday 10th November 2012 at the Sharjah Expo Centre.
