Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation presents a multimedia; photographic
and visual recording gallery, when available, of the Lectures
organised and hosted in various fields related to the preservation and study of the Islamic heritage and culture.
Within its series of Lectures on Islamic Heritage, Al-Furqān Islamic Heritage Foundation organised a public lecture titled “Medieval Muslims and Egyptian Hieroglyphs’’, delivered by the renowned Egyptologist, Professor Okasha El-Daly.
Jon Catleugh, Secretary of the de Morgan Society, spoke on the art of William de Morgan, a member of the late ninteenth-century Arts and Crafts movement who was very influenced by the lustre work of Turkish, Persian and Egyptian tile makers.
