This book is a compilation of papers by scholars and researchers specialised in the area of Islamic law objectives (maqāṣid al-Sharī‘ah). These were presented at the Third and last Training Course dedicated to the topic of “The Objectives of the Noble Qur’ān”, organised by the Centre for the Study of the Philosophy of Islamic Law (Maqāṣid Centre) at Al-Furqān Islamic Heritage Foundation (London), in collaboration with the Maqāṣid Research & Studies Centre (Rabat) and the Department of Islamic Studies, Faculty of Letters & Humanities Ben M'sik (Casablanca). It was held on 9-11 May 2017CE (12-14 Sha‘bān 1438H) at Kenzi Hotel in Casablanca, Morocco. The book’s content addresses areas hitherto unexplored in the two previous training courses. In this book, the reader will find a collection of peer-reviewed papers on the objectives of the Noble Qur’ān that relate to creed, thought, edification, society, politics, economics and humanity, as well as the objectives of religion, and methodologies for deducing the objectives of the Noble Qur’ān.
